Hello Parents and Players!
SMH 2026/2027 season registration is open from June 1 - June 30, 2026. Please use the online link to register through Spordle.
There have been a few updates this year please read the newsletter attached in the link below, in full. A couple of highlights:
1) Registration will open June 1/2026
2) Registration received after July 1/2026 will be assessed a $100 late fee
3) Final Payment Due Before September 1/2026 - Players will NOT be allowed to evaluate if there is an outstanding balance on the account on September 1, 2026, or alternative payment arrangements have not been organized and approved by the SMH Board.
4) As per the registration newsletter we have MAX numbers of players we will be accepting for this upcoming season. If the division hits their Max number before July 1st, 2026 that division will become closed at the time the Max number is achieved.
5) After July 1st, 2026, SMH cannot guarantee a spot for any player that registers after the deadline.
6) Please note, the $150 Fundraising opportunity is included in the fees. Please also note the following information.
7) If you live outside the Wheatland County you can register the child and we will put you on a waiting list until our registration closes. Once our registration closes to the members of the Wheatland County we will review our numbers and advise if there is room for your child.
8) If your child is trying out for AAA/AA you must register with your local association and if your child makes one of the teams all funds will be returned.
9) Please note that U11AA is now administered by Wheatland Athletic Association - please visit wheatlandaa.com for more information.
10) Females interested in playing all-female hockey may visit the Wheatland Wranglers at wheatlandwranglers.ca for more information.
11) 2011-born players interested in trying out for the regional U16 Tier 1 team should register with their home association. A separate tryout registration form for eligible U16 players will be distributed once finalized. To ensure you receive this information and all future communications, please make sure you are registered with your home association.
