Strathmore Minor Hockey is proud to support the Give the Gift of Sport campaign in partnership with KidSport Calgary & Area—a local charity that helps remove financial barriers so kids can play the sports they love.
Every day in our region, 30 kids receive sport registration support, 12 kids receive free equipment, and $11,262 is invested directly back into local sport programs. This year alone, more than 10,000 children have been helped, with $3.78 million returned to community sport and 19,000 pieces of equipment distributed at no cost to families.
For many families, a KidSport grant is the difference between a child sitting on the sidelines and stepping onto the ice.
As a proud KidSport-supported club, Strathmore Minor Hockey Association sees firsthand how powerful sport can be in building confidence, friendships, and lifelong memories. This holiday season, we invite our hockey families and community to help ensure ALL kids have the chance to play.
